7 Secrets to a Kick-Ass Resume

I’m in the business of helping people make a living doing what they love, and if you are going the route of finding a job that you love (rather than starting your own business), getting your resume in kick-ass shape is one of the first and most important steps. As someone with two college degrees who was applying for waitressing jobs two years out of college, and a business owner who has hired a team of people in the recent past, I have been on both sides of the resume submission/job application process. I know what makes me, as an employer, immediately pass over someone’s resume, and what makes me stop and write them back immediately to make sure they don’t take another job before I have a chance to interview them.
